LETTUCE SMOOTHIE?! Most people would turn their nose up and such a concoction but not us! Try this simple recipe that tastes great and has lots of nutrients.
90g fresh or frozen pineapple
3 ice cubes
80g Romaine or iceberg lettuce
25g vanilla flavour whey or rice protein powder (optional) 60g Greek yoghurt (use dairy free if preferred)
50g ripe banana
1⁄2 tsp chia seeds
170ml unsweetened almond milk
Step 1: Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy.
